Somebody put together this compilation of public domain sex education clips from the fifties and the early sixties. I ran across it while looking for Public Domain clips. I thought I'd post it here for the abstinence only crowd since there's no mention of condoms or any other birth control.

Then again, I never saw anything like this when I was in school but during those years I was mingling with the nuns in a Catholic school and I don't think sex education was high on their list of priorities in those days. The only thing I remember is in high school biology when a nun referred to masturbation as teenage thumbsucking. Maybe she thought if she could convince us we were all being babies we'd quit doing it so we could get to heaven. I suppose so, but I found no use of the term thumbsucking or even pacifier in this video. Anyway, that's my take on it.
