Senator Webb's amendment which would have guaranteed that troops get at least one full year off in between deployments to Iraq, was again blocked by the so called troop loving Repugnicans. Yes, the Repugnicans care about troops dying in Iraq so much, they are willing to sentence some more to die as a political ploy. You see, they need their nutty base for the primaries, and after the primaries than they might be able to start supporting a withdrawal plan. You know, when they aren't so dependent on that stupidifying base of theirs. Then in the General Election they can then tell the independents that they really weren't stuck up Bush's butt for all of those years. They were just kidding.
